Who We Are

Mission: To empower those affected by violence in Dodge County, WI using a three part approach – crisis services, community collaboration, and prevention education.

Founded in 1978, PAVE (Protect, Advocate, Validate, Educate) is dedicated to supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Over the past four decades, we have expanded our programs and services, but our commitment remains the same—ensuring that no one in Dodge County, or beyond, is forced into victimhood.

With the support of dedicated staff, selfless volunteers, and a compassionate community, we provide advocacy, education, and essential resources to those in crisis. In 1990, we opened our first domestic violence shelter, and in 2024, we expanded to a larger, fully accessible facility that offers a safe and therapeutic environment for survivors to heal.

What We Do

PAVE provides comprehensive support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, regardless of age, gender expression, sexual orientation, race, or socioeconomic status. Our 24/7 crisis hotline and text line offer immediate protection, advocacy, and resources to those in need.

We work closely with law enforcement and the court system, while prioritizing client confidentiality. Our team of crisis advocates, case managers, and volunteers ensures survivors receive safe shelter, support services, and the tools to rebuild their lives. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to break the cycle of violence and create a future free from abuse.
