Who We Are
Mission: To promote the sport of figure skating in a positive and supportive environment.
Swan City Ice Skaters is a USFS figure skating club and is a proud member of the Wisconsin Figure Skating Council. We skate at the Family Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. We have an open membership policy and are self funded and self governed.
What We Do
SCIS is proud to sponsor several Regional competitors each year! We have approx. 75 skating members that range from first-time skaters to experts. The ages of our skaters range from three years to mature adults. A full range of lessons are offered for all ages. Our instructors are certified professionals. In addition to individual instruction, our club sponsors 3 synchronized skating teams. Our 2016-17 teams consist of a Beginner, Pre Liminary and Intermediate teams. Swan City Ice Skaters is primarily a volunteer-run organization. This keeps our fees reasonable compared to other ice skating clubs. Our programs, facilities and instruction are first rate.
