Who We Are

Mission: To honor the heritage of the Beaver Dam Pepper and foster community engagement through related activities.

The Beaver Dam Pepper Festival is a celebration of the Beaver Dam Pepper, a Hungarian heirloom pepper brought to the Beaver Dam area in 1912 by the Joe Hussli family. The festival features a variety of activities, including a pepper eating contest, cooking competitions, live music, and children’s activities. Join us on the second Saturday in September.

We are folks passionate about healthy eating (BD Pepper is soooo good for you) and bringing the community together to celebrate life!

What We Do

We celebrate the BD Pepper and it’s heritage, with music, arts, community organizations, vendors and family fun!

Looking for folks to volunteer for some fun; selling 50/50 raffle tickets, pancakes, raffle baskets, etc.
