I want to take a moment to thank you for your involvement in helping Volunteer Dodge get off the ground. In just 2 short months, we have seen:
- 33 non profits complete an agency page
- 129 registered users
- 52 responses from 37 unique users
Additionally, thanks to the our major sponsor, United Way of Dodge County, we've had the opportunity to speak about Volunteer Dodge to several large corporations.
We've been at the Dodge County Women's Expo, been on Community Comment, been highlighted during a Trinity Church United Methodist Radio Broadcast session, spoke to the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Beaver Dam group and continue to grow our reach via social media outlets.
We do, however, need more volunteers to make cultural shifts in our community. To grow our presence in how we fill the gaps in our community, we will need folks that are gifted in the following areas:
- Promotion of Volunteerism as a movement
- Social media/technology/video
- Written media communications (newsletters, press release, regular newspaper articles)
- Community engagement (boots on the ground--talking to schools, businesses, civic groups, faith community)
We'd like to set a meeting for folks to learn more about how we got started, and to determine how you can help us move forward.
