This little Hungarian pepper has had quite the interesting life. From a small village in what was then Yugoslavia called Apatin several families migrated to the United States and finally called Beaver Dam Wisconsin their home.
During the festival you will enjoy apple-pepper pancakes, Beaver Dam Pepper brats and beer, along with apple-pepper pie and other yummy Beaver Dam Pepper treats.
Vendors representing local businesses & local artisans, kid’s activities and live music all day.
Featuring a 90-minute demonstration from Chef Chanse who will be pairing the Beaver Dam Pepper with different foods.
And don’t forget the Chili Cookoff with a $100 first prize, and the longest Beaver Dam Pepper contest with a $50 first prize.
Proceeds from the festival will support The Playground Movement in Beaver Dam.
