Board Member Position for Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse is available 

We are particularly looking for a volunteer who likes to help plan fundraisers, coordinate events and communicate to outside people.

This would be a fundraising committee role and that would be the primary function of this board position. 

We ask that board members attend 75% of all board meetings, we meet one time per month. And you can attend virtually via phone or computer and that doesn't count against your attendance. 

In addition, we also ask that you try to attend as many fundraisers as possibleisers and events that we host throughout the year.

This is a tangible need that would require your presence with Amanda Hartwig or another Board Member being at the Beaver Dam Office while you fill the self care boxes to be put inside the care packages. 

A tangible need that would allow us to have an abundance of general stock already put together to allow us to be able to focus on filling the care packages at a more efficient rate.  

We have an abundance of journals that we desperately need to have personalized in a loving way because we send these out in our care packages. 

We like to write: "My Child, My Beloved" 

This would be a physical need that would be at our facility. 

This volunteer need is dependent on the number of journals that we have donated. 

Great penmanship is a requirement******

This may seem like a redundant need, but it is one that requires little bit by little bit of time which quickly adds up. We need someone who has fingernails that are good at removing price tags on some of our merchandise that go into our care packages.

This volunteer opportunity will be available at Bo's Facility in Beaver Dam above Higher Grounds Coffee Shop. 

We have our Bereaved Moms Spa Day that is coming up in May 2025. We are in need of some volunteers to help solicit small businesses and other local businesses for items for 20 gift bags as well as 20 prize baskets as the bereaved moms will be able to select a basket to take home with them. 

Most of the items are self-care based or items that that can be used at a later date. 

All of the items can consist of business cards and other things from small businesses and local businesses as a thank you for their donation.

Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse in specific need for sympathy cards because they travel across the country in our care packages that are free for parents that endure the death of their child. 

We don’t need them to say much, in fact, the inside can be blank, we just need them to be made with love. Lots of love. Because that is entirely what grieving hearts need the most. 

If you would like to say something on the inside you can have it say: 
"We are so very sorry for the loss of your sweet child. We say their name alongside you. We hope that you know that you're not alone." 

Just heartfelt handmade cards would be awesome! 

Make these at home with your kids/church/small group and contact us for pick up, anytime. 

 You can purchase plain envelopes from Hobby Lobby or Walmart for relatively cheap if you would like your cards to come with an envelope to make them mailable!

We desperately need thank you cards. We are always sending them to our donors, whether it be a monetary donation or a raffle basket donation. We’re always in need of sending out thank yous! Those also don’t need to say much either!

Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse is in specific need of birthday cards because they travel to families who have endured the death of their children to help them remember that their children are still remembered and honored on their birthday.

We would prefer them to be blank on the inside so that we can fill them out specifically to each family.

Sticker Tabbing Bibles is a program volunteer opportunity that requires a steady hand. The Bibles that we accumulate within donations we lovingly sticker with tabs so that it makes reading the Bible easier and more appealing to families that receive care packages.

These volunteer hours can be served at Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse Facility in Beaver Dam, located above Higher Grounds Coffee Shop.

Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse has a large amount of Thank you and sympathy cards that we run through on a monthly basis. In order to do what we do; we need volunteers that are willing to help contribute a little bit of time to help us bridge the gap between small tangible things that can be shared in a workload so that we in turn can help more families receive the support that they need! 
If you would like to volunteer by writing out cards for us, you will receive a script to write in each individual card. You will NOT need to seal any envelopes as we like to personalize each card when we send it by simply writing in a name. 

We ask that for this task, legible handwriting must be required

This program need is an amazing volunteer opportunity for our friends and partners. 

For this task you will be invited to paint and personalize rocks that we will use to encourage bereaved families in our care package program. 

Rocks should be relatively small and be able to be added into our care packages. 

Here's a link for some rocks that could be purchased, otherwise you are welcome to go outside and go "rock hunting"

Once the rocks are completed, please reach out to Amanda Hartwig to schedule a time for pick up or drop off. 

Personalizing the rocks with words of encouragement are helpful as well as painting them. You are invited to add words of encouragement like: "Breathe, You Can, It's ok to not be ok, Calm, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self Control, Tears, Good Grief, Grieve Well, It's going to be ok, Hugs, Praying"

If there are any bigger rocks that are painted are given as gifts of encouragement to our Support Group Programs.
