Preceptor Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing quality health care in people's homes (wherever home is) for more than 20 years.  Preceptor is always looking for hospice volunteers who would be willing to visit with patients.   Are you retired, a student, veteran, or looking for something to fill your time?  Come join our team and bring the best gift of being present.

Being a hospice volunteer is about giving your time and presence to others. Whether through a gentle touch, a listening ear, or simply sitting quietly by someone's side.  YOU become the steadfast support of those facing end-of-life needs.  Hospice volunteers engage in conversation, listen to stories, read books, newspapers, magazine, or share stories.  Share a talent such as singing, crafting, playing board games or cards.  While hospice encompasses end-of-life support, it also embraces the celebration of life in its purest form.  As a volunteer, you are gifted with witnessing awe-inspired moments of joy, laughter, and profound reflection while sharing stores, recreating cherished memories or helping with meaningful activities.  Please reach out if you are interested in learning more about becoming a member of our team.
