Mission: To care for hunger, education, and wellness in our rural communities in partnership with our schools, organizations, churches, businesses, and caring individuals.
The Gathering Source is a food pantry and resource center, connecting our rural communities with partner organizations and resources that will improve their quality of life. We exist to serve the community by extending a helping hand and providing food, support, and love for those facing dire circumstances beyond their control. Our commitment is to reduce hunger and provide a variety of educational programs and access to resources to IMPROVE the quality of life in our rural communities. We believe everyone in our rural communities deserves to have access to the food and resources their household needs.
The Gathering Source was founded by Sharon Rennhack Hamann Snow in honor of her late husband, Mark Hamann. Since then, Sharon and many dedicated volunteers have grown the organization to what it is today. It takes a village (or a community)! We could never do what we do without the generous support from our donors and volunteers. We sincerely thank you for your previous and ongoing support.
The Gathering Source is a multipurpose organization experiencing ongoing growth and expansion of its programs.
